NADFAS Goes to Glastonbury

As you may have heard, NADFAS, under the banner of All in Art took the trip to Worthy Farm, Somerset this June to attend Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts.

Three of our accredited lecturers, Gerald Deslandes, Louise Schofield and Ben Roberts (accompanied by staff members Judith, Eden and Edward) braved the mud and the unknown to present different twenty minute ‘cultural bites’ each day at the festival. The talks were held in a small and quirky venue called ‘The Buzz Stop’ and it was there that we welcomed a new and diverse audience every day!

The lecture topics ranged from werewolves and ‘hyena-men’, to Stonehenge to Patti Smith and all were well received in what was a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Taking our high quality talks out to new audiences in such unusual surroundings worked well for NADFAS and we hope to build on this experience in the future.

Here are some of the photos from our time at the festival!
